Arcade Action Using the Famous Planes of WWII

Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II gives you the opportunity to pilot the most famous combat planes of the World War II. It will be up to you to tip the scales of victory in favor of the Allies. Experience aerial combat through the eyes of four pilots, fighting on four main fronts of the war. Take part in the Battle of Britain, help the Allies win the African campaign, defend Russia from the Third Reich's powerful army and face fearless Japanese pilots over the Pacific.

Gameplay

Piloting a wide range of aircraft, players engage in aerial dog fights and dangerous fighter missions across the major theaters of war during WWII. Featuring realistic WWII aircraft and an unprecedented multiplayer experience, Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II introduces cutting-edge multiplayer features allowing players to challenge each other in different multiplayer modes including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Racing, Team Racing, Bomb-Target Hunting, Mission Survival and Fleet Escorting.

When millions of soldiers and thousands of tanks clashed on the fronts of World War II, an even more dramatic battle was being fought above the blood soaked battlefield of the Earth. In Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII you join that historic struggle as you defend Great Britain against the German Luftwaffe, take part in the monumental efforts of the Red Army on the eastern front, or exact revenge on the Japanese air forces as an American pilot over the Pacific. Regardless of the theater of battle, you must stay focused, as split-second decisions provide the difference between victory and death in the air.

Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII, an action-packed aerial shooter featuring both simulation and arcade modes. The game contains more than 20 combat missions that run the gamut from providing escort and cover for bombers being used as target practice by enemy bogies, to head-to-head dogfights against aces of the axis powers. In these missions you have access to over 25 historically correct airplanes, including American, British and Russian machines. All of these can be upgraded with success in the air and pilot's performance in the cockpit is rated by a unique mission performance evaluation system.
